Job Description:

  • Establish monthly and year-to-date recovery targets for litigation and assigned collection portfolios, and ensure that each outsourced agency achieves the agreed performance target.
  • Manage, control and monitor the performance of outsourced collection agencies to ensure effective recovery actions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Review agency collection activities and collector productivity to ensure that appropriate and effective recovery actions are taken.
  • Communicate recovery strategies, collection priorities and operational guidelines to assigned agencies.
  • Provide training, coaching and performance feedback to agencies to strengthen their collection capabilities and improve recovery results.
  • Review daily performance dashboards and analyze actual performance against forecasts, monthly targets and previous-period results.
  • Identify performance gaps, operational risks and emerging trends, and recommend corrective actions to ensure achievement of month-end recovery targets.
  • Monitor account allocation and portfolio assignment across collection agencies to ensure compliance with approved assignment guidelines.
  • Analyze and summarize monthly recovery performance and present key findings, risks and recommendations to management.
  • Investigate assigned customer complaint or collection-related cases, conclude investigation findings and propose appropriate corrective or preventive actions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with outsourced agencies to identify operational issues, support requirements and process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that each outsourced agency maintains an appropriate Business Continuity Plan and can implement it effectively in compliance with the Bank of Thailand’s outsourcing requirements.
  • Monitor agency compliance with applicable laws, regulations, collection policies, codes of conduct and internal control requirements.
  • Prepare management presentations, performance updates and recommendations on assigned topics.
  • Conduct monthly communication sessions or town hall meetings with relevant agency teams.
  • Conduct regular on-site agency visits to review operations, performance, controls and service quality.
  • Coach and supervise OA Management Supervisors to ensure effective execution of their responsibilities and provide constructive performance feedback.
  • Build productive working relationships with outsourced agencies and internal stakeholders to continuously improve recovery performance.
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in debt collection, recovery management, outsourced collection agency management or related functions.
  • Experience within a financial institution, consumer finance company, credit card business, personal loan business, asset management company or debt collection outsourcing company is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing or working closely with outsourced debt collection agencies, collection vendors or external service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of debt collection operations, recovery strategies, agency performance management and collection portfolio allocation.
  • Good understanding of applicable debt collection laws, the Debt Collection Act, Bank of Thailand regulations and outsourcing requirements.
  • Ability to interpret collection data, analyze performance trends and translate insights into practical recovery actions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and process management skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agency relationships, provide performance feedback and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, particularly in managing supervisors or operational teams.
  • Results-oriented, accountable and able to work effectively under pressure and challenging recovery targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using collection management systems, recovery platforms, dashboards or business intelligence tools would be an advantage.
  • Good command of English would be an advantage.
